What you will be doing

As a Web Developer (React), you are responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and continuous development of the Pluxbox website and digital web experiences that support the growth and positioning of Pluxbox worldwide. You translate brand, product, and user needs into modern, scalable, and high-performing web solutions that create impact.

You work closely with our designers, marketer, data analyst, and fellow developers to continuously improve and evolve the website experience. Together, you use insights, user behavior, and performance data to make informed decisions and create measurable impact. From maintaining and refining existing components to developing new pages, features, and integrations, you are involved throughout the entire development lifecycle.

You look beyond individual pages and tickets, thinking holistically about performance, usability, maintainability, and long-term scalability. How can we continuously improve the user experience? Where can we simplify and optimize workflows? And how can we ensure the website remains flexible, future-ready, and aligned with the Pluxbox vision? These are the questions you work on every day.

Responsibilities: 

• Developing a website: writing code for the front end
• Connecting front end to CMS system (based on GraphQL)
• Ensuring a good user experience: creating fast, clear, and mobile-friendly websites.
• Maintaining and improving: fixing bugs, implementing updates, and adding new features.
• Testing and security: identifying errors, testing websites on various devices, and ensuring strong security and performance.
• Collaboration and optimization: working with designers and other teams, and sometimes considering SEO and accessibility.

What you need to be able to do:

• Demonstrable experience with JavaScript/TypeScript HTML and  CSS
• Demonstrable experience with building responsive websites
• Experience with frameworks such as React, NextJS  or Vue.js
• Experience with with NodeJS is a plus
• You are a creative talent with a natural sense of design
• Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills in English
• You describe yourself as positive, proactive, assertive and you are a teamplayer
• You have strong organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks and deliver results
